# How to wire the Ericsson IBR1100 router for digital alerting

This article explains how to wire the Ericsson IBR1100 router to send digital alerts to HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud.

The IBR1100 is wired via the 4-pin square power port included with the router.

|  | **Connection**<br>- Use the **orange wire** from the 4-pin square power port cable (Input / Pin 3).<br>- Connect the orange wire to the **positive side** of the vehicle's warning lights switch.<br>If the orange wire is already used for ignition sensing, another option will be needed.<br> R2R (if subscribed) will use the blue wire (Output / Pin 4). |  |

## Important Notes

- Only **one** wire is used to detect warning light activation
- Ensure connections are made to the **positive** side of the warning lights switch
- Always secure unused wires with heat shrink or electrical tape if using the extensibility cable
